| 11/15/2009 11:30 AM PA 896 & HISTORIC DRIVE, ALMOST DONE! According to a recent statement issued by the Lancaster County Planning Commission, Transportation Division crews are nearing the end of work to the Route 896 Project. That statement reported that work at PA 896 and Historic Drive will be coming to a end the week of November 16, 2009. This project widend the intersection and provided a left turning lane. Additionally the installation of a traffic control device, Traffic Light was placed not only at the intersection of PA 896. But, also at the entrance to the shopping center there to relieve congestion between the shopping center and the traffic flow from the Historic Strasburg Inn. |
