January 7, 2017 Officers were dispatched to the location for a disturbance involving a party and the occupant’s reportedly smoking marijuana. Upon arriving, an obvious odor of marijuana could be detected emitting from the apartment, the occupants were removed, and a subsequent search found numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia including pipes, grinders, storage containers, and a small amount  of marijuana.

Arrested:           Ryan Greenawalt, 20, of the 3200 Blk. River Rd. Conestoga
Charges :           Fleeing and Eluding Police, Driving While Operating Privileged is Suspended, Stop Sign Violation

Greenawalt was operating a vehicle west bound on Long Ln and did not  stop at a stop sign at Stehman Rd. in Conestoga Twp.  Greenawalt did not stop for a marked police car with emergency lights and siren activated.  Greenawalt continued into Manor Twp.  Greenawalt eventually stopped his car at the Creswell Park on River Rd. in Manor Twp. and was taken into custody.  He was arraigned by District Justice Keller and released on unsecure bail.  The pursuit lasted approx. 8 miles with a speed of approx. 45 MPH.

DUI (Drug Related) –

Charges:              DUI (3 counts), Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia, Summary Traffic x4 including Driving While Suspended

Location:             Willow Street Pike / Baumgardner Rd. – Pequea Twp.

Wilson was observed traveling at a high rate of speed on Willow Street Pike South and Baumgardner Road and upon Police attempting to stop the vehicle, Wilson lost control of his vehicle, struck and embankment, and overturned the vehicle. Wilson was transported to LGH for evaluation and provided samples of blood for toxicology testing which indicated that he was under the influence of Marijuana at the time of the crash. A small amount of marijuana and a glass pipe were found in the vehicle after the crash.

False ID to Law Enforcement: –
           Steven Hadley, 24, 500 block Sterling Place Lancaster

Hadley was observed operating a vehicle with an expired registration and provided a false spelling of his last name. He was later positively identified and his driver’s license was found to be suspended.
